Cobham has all the infrastructure in-place to attach and test mechanical and electrical subassemblies integrated into molded composites. Our experience includes the design and/or specification of mechanical interfaces including fasteners and load transfer members including vibration suppression mechanisms. Assembly of static sensitive electrical components is performed using a grounded work station. We specify, install and test electrical subsystems and harnesses. Our painting facility includes a 10 ft X 10 ft X 8 ft ventilated paint booth, and adjacent space is used for air drying coatings. Nearby ventilated ovens are used for low temperature (125 to 250 deg F) curing of coatings.
