We specialize in Resin Transfer Molding (RTM), compression molding (with continuous reinforcements and bulk/sheet molding compounds), hand lay-up/autoclave cure, MSM(TM) bladder molding and mechanical hardware and electrical systems assembly and integration.  In addition, Cobham has considerable experience with a wide variety of advanced material forms for prepreg, compression molding and RTM processes.  Material reinforcements include graphite, Kevlar and fiberglass used in prepreg, BMC and sheet molding forms.  We also have the technical knowledge and skill to utilize advanced resin systems including multiple epoxy systems, polyimides (such as Avimid N, MVK-19 and AFR-PE-4), phenolics, bismaleimide (BMI) and cyanate ester. 

Cobham's product focus includes missile housings and missile components, munitions products, aircraft components, high temperature aircraft engine products, rotorcraft blade components and unmanned aerial vehicle airframes and sub-components.  We have the facilities, equipment and experienced staff necessary to design, analyze and develop processes for proof-of-concept and production components for advanced aerospace and defense applications.  We are well known for having one of the best track records in the advanced composites industry for reliable, high-volume production of aerospace composite products (from hundreds of parts per year to over 10,000 parts per year).  Cobham's customers are aerospace primes including Pratt & Whitney, Raytheon, Sikorsky, Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems and MBDA.  We are a preferred Raytheon supplier, having delivered over 150,000 parts on time, and we have a Superior Blue supplier rating with Raytheon.  Additionally, Cobham is a STAR supplier with Lockheed Martin.  We are ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100 Rev B certified.
