We have broad experience using MSM™ and pressurized silicone bladders integrated with aluminum and/or steel outer tooling. MSM™ advanced bladder molding was developed by Cobham to meet demanding tolerance and surface finish requirements not normally achievable in bladder molding.
Our production facilities are well equipped for high volume production and include a suite of heated platen presses to meet the needs of each program. We design and fabricate our own tooling and develop and qualify each process to meet the specific requirements of each program. Multiple cavity tooling is utilized where appropriate to meet production rate requirements. Lean initiatives are completed by our in-house manufacturing, engineering and production staff to optimize the production process and reduce touch labor.
Our bladder molding experience includes all epoxy grade resins and we have broad experience with carbon, graphite, glass and Kevlar fibers.
