We specialize in matched metal, net shape compression molding of complex shape, high tolerance structural components. We have extensive production experience integrating metal attachments into the molded part to reduce secondary operations. Our production facilities are well equipped for high volume production and include custom designed molding cells and a suite of heated platen presses to meet the needs of each program. Our largest compression molding line is configured to produce 16,000 parts per year; this line has produced over 150,000 parts to date. We design and fabricate our own tooling and develop and qualify each process to meet the specific requirements of each program. Lean manufacturing cells are designed and qualified by our in-house manufacturing and engineering and production staff to optimize the production process and reduce touch labor. Our compression molding experience includes all aerospace grade resins including epoxy, BMI, polyimides and vinyl ester. We have broad experience with carbon, graphite, glass and Kevlar fibers and fiber forms including continuous weaves and uni-directional materials and chopped fiber forms including sheet and bulk molding materials.
