Bladder Molding

  • Graphite & Glass Reinforced
  • Epoxy Resin
  • Hand Layup Glass & Carbon Fibers

We have broad experience using pressurized silicone bladders integrated with aluminum and/or steel outer tooling to create the pressure on the laminate to produce high tolerance parts with high quality surface finish requirements. Our production facilities are well equipped for high volume production and include a suite of heated platen presses to meet the needs of each program. We design and fabricate our own tooling and develop and qualify each process to meet the specific requirements of each program. Multiple cavity tooling is utilized where appropriate to meet production rate requirements. Lean initiatives are completed by our in-house manufacturing and engineering and production staff to optimize the production process and reduce touch labor. Our bladder molding experience includes all epoxy grade resins and we have broad experience with carbon, graphite, glass and Kevlar fibers.
