We specialize in net shaped molding of complex shape, high tolerance structural components using the RTM process. We have extensive production experience integrating metal attachments into the molded part to reduce secondary operations. Our production facilities are well equipped for high volume RTM production and include custom designed molding cells and a suite of heated platen presses to meet the needs of each program. Our RTM production lines are designed to meet customer requirements and are currently producing between 1,000 and 8,000 parts per year. We design and fabricate our own tooling and develop and qualify each RTM process to meet the specific requirements of each program. Multiple cavity tooling is utilized where appropriate to meet production rate requirements. Lean manufacturing cells are designed and qualified by our in-house manufacturing and engineering and production staff to optimize the production process and reduce touch labor. Our RTM experience includes all aerospace grade resins and fibers and fiber forms including weaves, uni-directional and braided preforms.
